Adrian is a passionate Landscape and Travel photographer, who also displays a serious interest in Military Aircraft and Birds and Nature photography.
Much of his travel imagery focuses on the wonderful patterns and details to be found within both our rural and urban landscapes. He lives in Cumbria, within easy access of the Lake District.
He plans to capture the range of beauty and grandeur that this area displays throughout the seasons and especially during the "golden hours" near to dawn and dusk.

Gate Foot Gallery, Lake District Landscape Photography Centre is situated below the beautiful Kentmere valley in the English Lake District, Cumbria. We have easy access from the main arteries into the Lake District. We are just off the A591 in Staveley before you reach Windermere.

As an artist, the fleeting qualities of light and colour excite me. I am trying to grasp the internal qualities, the essential mood and spirit of place. Sometimes I use a straightforward, representational approach but, increasingly, I am exploring the abstract. I love to experiment with texture and colour and follow themes and ideas in lots of work, large and small.
I love the wilderness areas, gardening and walking. I explored the theme of 'Boundaries' - fields, walls and fences, the edges of sea and shadows. My current theme is the exploration of the changing colours of the seasons in an abstract form.
